Kingsmede B&B is located in the historic village of Whitwell, near Ventnor. The property, dating back to the 1700's, has plenty of charm from the past with of all the comforts you would expect from today.
Providing a warm, friendly atmosphere, our family run B&B offers twin or double en-suite rooms with the option of an additional room to cater for families. Each room offers tea and coffee making facilities, Wi-fi, and T.V. with DVD.

Whitwell is well situated only a 5 minute drive north of Ventnor with some fantastic beaches to explore.
Head 5 minutes the other way and visit the picturesque village of Godshill with many unique shops to visit and attractions to see.

We offer a freshly prepared, full English Breakfast, also cereals, yogurt and fruit. Where possible, we aim to provide locally sourced food including Isle of Wight sausages and locally sourced eggs!
Breakfast will be served between 7am and 9am, however we will be happy to try and accommodate outside of these hours where possible. We also aim to accommodate any dietary requirements if requested at the time of booking. |
DogsYou are welcome to bring your dog, by prior arrangement. We ask for them to be kept on a lead at all times in the house and garden. They are allowed in your bedroom but we do ask that you provide a sleeping blanket/bed (or similar) for your dog. We charge £6 per dog per night (dog food not included). |
Check In & Check OutOn the day of your arrival check in time is usually 4pm but every effort will be made to get the room ready for you based on your ferry crossing time.
