Advice and Information on COVID-19

Picture

The safety of all our guests and our team is our main concern so we have carried out a thorough risk assessment and introduced a few changes to protect everyone whilst still offering a relaxed enjoyable stay.

Firstly we ask all guests displaying any symptoms to not travel and to contact us at the first opportunity to discuss the options.

We have hand sanitiser at our entrance and by guest rooms for use by all guests and team members.

We are still offering our full range of breakfast facilities/options by moving our breakfast room to a bigger room for social distancing and offering each group a separate breakfast table for all your usual help yourself items.
We are sanitising all communal areas periodically with government approved EN14476 cleaning products and steam cleaning all upholstery, including all surfaces and touch points eg. switches, handles, rails.

All guest rooms are deep cleaned at changeover with check in now only after 4pm to allow thorough cleaning to take place.

We display notices to remind and guide guests around the B&B to help with social distancing.

We are taking contact details from all bookings to aid track and trace.
Advice if you display signs of the coronavirus (COVID-19) virus while staying with us you should inform us, immediately self-isolate where you are to minimise any risk of transmission, and request a test. If you are confirmed to have coronavirus (COVID-19), you should return home if reasonably possible. You should use private transport but only drive yourself if you can do so safely. If a guest cannot reasonably return home (for example because they are not well enough to travel or do not have the means to arrange transport), their circumstances should be discussed with an appropriate health care professional and, if necessary, the local authority.
Unless otherwise provided for in the contractual terms of the booking, the guest will be expected to pay the costs of an extended stay in all but exceptional circumstances. Exceptional circumstances may include but are not limited to where the accommodation provider has failed to follow government guidance to create a covid-secure environment.
There will be some types of accommodation where self-isolation would not be possible, for example if there are shared washing facilities or if the risk to the host, owner or staff cannot be mitigated. In these cases, guests should make arrangements to travel home as safely as possible, whilst minimising risk to others.
